I have very little information on my 10th great grandfather. He was born in 1608 at Dieppe, France to Abraham Charpentier and Marguerite (?). I know he married Catherine Therelle, but I don't know when or where. He died at
Caux, Allier, Auvergne, France; however I don't know when that would have been.
Thank you for posting this. We are distantly related as Cyprien and Catherine’s son married in Quebec City in 1661. He is my grandfather’s descendant. Cyprien seemed to have been married late in life, if the mes aieux website is accurate as they list the marriage as taking place around 1646.
