Solomon was my 7th great - grandfather and he was born on August 26, 1699 at Norwalk, Fairfield county, Connecticut. It looks like he lived there his entire life as I have him passing away there in 1748. His parents were David Tuttle and Mary Reid and he was the oldest of 11 children that included David Jr (1700), Enos (1701), Mary (1704), Nathan (1707), Katherine (1710), Ann (1713), Lidia (1717), Daniel (1725), Ebenezer (1741), and Abigail (?). You might note that there is a gap in birthdates towards the end. I am not sure if there were other children born that didn't survive or if recording of birthdates got more lax. I am not sure when, but Solomon did marry Mary Canfield and they settled in Norwalk area.
Solomon's mother was Mary REED & much of her family history can be found in the Reed genealogy book of Captain John Reed. The Reed's & Tuttle's seem to be heavily connected back in the early years.
