My 8th great - grandfather was the ninth of fourteen children born to John Tuttle and Catherine (Katherine) Lane on November 14, 1668 at New Haven, Connecticut. His siblings included Hannah (1665), John (1657), Samuel (1660), Sarah (1662), Daniel (1664), Mary (?), Rebecca (?), Elizabeth (1666), Benjamin (1671), James (1672), William (1673), Nathaniel (1674), and Susanna (?). He married Mary Reed on November 24, 1698 at Norwalk, Fairfield county, Connecticut. He passed away at the age of 83 on January 16, 1752 at New Haven, Connecticut.
